I have been aware for some time that my web presence is kind of a mess, particularly on Tumblr. When I first joined the site, it was with the purpose of creating an essay blog about the San Fernando Valley. Which I did. Kind of. And abandoned. Kind of. (Maybe “shelved for future use” is a better way to phrase it.)

Anyway, this is by way of explaining that the whole time I’ve been on Tumblr, the Valley blog has been my default blog, leading to much confusion. (“Who the hell is this valblog person and why doesn’t repulsiveinteractions like anything I do?!”) So I’m doing some reshuffling. I’m going to move my operation to the default blog, which will now be under my name (http://tessastrain.tumblr.com—you’ll notice that it’s currently in transition). Follow me there if you want to keep reading the things from my brain. The Valley essays will be deleted from there and moved over to a new blog, with the same ol’ url you’ve come to know and love, possibly to be revamped and revisited.

The upshot is that I’m going to be phasing out posts on Repulsive Interactions and encouraging you all to follow me at the new-old account. I won’t be deleting this one, just no more new posts after a while, and I’ll give you plenty of warnings before the move is official. #ITSAPROCESS

In the meantime, you can always follow me on Twitter where I will continue to say things, albeit in fewer characters.
